Stand by for a Dalek invasion (1964)

1964-08-08 Mirror.jpg

[edit]

Stand by for the invasion of London by the Daleks—those robot monsters making a comeback by popular demand.

When the creatures from outer Space were dropped from the B B C's Saturday science fiction television serial "Dr. Who," hundreds of young viewers sent in protest letters.

Now they are coming back . . . to examine London later this month before a full-scale invasion in November.
