FAMOUS FOES TO RETURN
THE Daleks are set to make their biggest-ever comeback to Doctor Who.
Bosses "retired" the baddies two years ago so fans didn't get sick of them.
But they will return in a mighty way in the new BBC1 series. Producers will unleash the Dalek army against the Time Lord.
They will include the old style Daleks used in the 1970s and 1980s, the updated flying models from 2005 and also the bulkier 2010 types. In a teaser clip for the new series, the Doc (Matt Smith, 29) is seen joking: "Give me a Dalek any day."
Suddenly, out of an icy landscape, an eye stalk belonging to one of his deadliest foes emerges.
But we can reveal that is just the tip of the iceberg. Show chief Steven Moffat, 50, plans to bring the creatures, famous for screaming "Exterminate", back with a bang.
He told Hot TV: "We have every kind of Dalek coming back. Just wait and see." The BBC1 sci-fi show will return in the autumn for five episodes followed by a Christmas special.
Next year there will be an initial eight episodes followed by a round of TV specials to mark the 50th anniversary of the smash-hit series.
Moffat said: "Next year is a great year to be a Doctor Who fan."
