WITHOUT the aid of that famous police telephone box, a Dalek has to be propelled to Perivale on Saturday.
This alien transportation problem faces Perivale First School Parent Teacher Association committee following their decision to invite one of the robots from the BBC "Dr Who" series to their annual May Fayre.
At the school grounds in Federal Road the Dalek is to help the far more attractive BBC personality Lesley Judd, of "Blue Peter", in an afternoon of fun which forms the association's major fund-raising event of the year.
Caption: Three-year-old Adele Jones, daughter of a Perivale Park PTA member, and Nicola Barnes, 2, daughter of PTA chairman David Barnes, makes friends with Daleks at the BBC special effects department.
