A CAPTAIN in the United Nations Intelligence Task Force will speak to more than 50 of his devotees in a Blackpool restaurant on Saturday.
Actor Richard Franklin who played Captain Mike Yates of the fictional organisation UNIT in the sci-fi series "Dr Who," is to address members of the Blackpool Time Travellers in a second floor room of the Strand Restaurant, Central Promenade.
In honour of their special guest, the BTT members all fans of fantasy television programmes will dress up as their favourite science fiction characters for the day.
Events lined up include a Christmas "Blankety Blank" game, debates, a Dr Who Mastermind contest and reruns of old episodes of "Dr Who" and "Sapphire and Steel."
The fun starts at 1pm and new members are welcome to attend. Admission charge is 70 pence.
