Dr. Who strikes again

If you're looking for a smaller dose of fantasy or if you want something to please the kids, a "Dr. Who" movie will be shown today at the Museum of Science, 3280 S. Miami Ave. Dr. Who has been played by four different actors over his 18-year existence. Unlike many space heroes, Dr. Who is not infallible. His mistakes are part of the fun. In the episode "Death to the Daleks," the doctor, who has two hearts and a body temperature of 60 degrees, lands on an alien planet because of a power failure on his spaceship. He meets a group of travelers from Earth who are looking for a mineral that will save residents of their colonies from a deadly plague. Dr. Who is brought to life by Jon Pertwee, the third actor to play the role. The show runs from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Admission is $1 for adults and 50 cents for children.
