Newport Doctor Who fans are trying to save a real-life Tardis. The police telephone box in Newport, South Wales, which is a listed building and one of only a few left in Britain, is falling apart and fenced off. John Guy, 65, a former policeman, said: "We are determined to restore it to its former glory and turn it into a tourist atraction."
