Fans of the long-running British television series Doctor Who can meet John Nathan-Turner, producer of the science-fiction series since 1979, at at WXXI studios, 280 State St., from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday and Monday. Nathan-Turner is hosting the 1987 Doctor Who Celebration and Tour, traveling the country with a 48-foot exhibition trailer containing original special effects animation and the show's most famous monsters and villains.

Nathan-Turner will also present a 90-minute video program of short documentaries about the 24-year-old series. Autographs, discussions, souvenirs and memorabelia will be available. Tickets are $7.50, $6.50 for WXXI members and $6 for children under 14; call 325-7500.
