FORMER Doctor Who girl Lalla Ward won't forget the day she came face to face with her weighiest adversary. Dilberta the 1 1/2-ton Indian elephant.

"I play the daughter of an Egyptian archaeologist. It's a rather studious part," she said. She hopes the pilot episode being filmed in the South of France will lead to a series.
