TORONTO (CP) — Dr. Who fans will be delighted to know the Space channel will broadcast one of the so-called "lost" serials on Feb. 3.
The "lost" serials were apparently destroyed when the BBC purged their vaults years ago. But the episode called Tomb of the Cybermen was rediscovered in Hong Kong in 1992.
Tomb of the Cybermen is the first surviving serial with Patrick Troughton (the second Doctor), and the first in colour. Approximately 40 episodes immediately preceding and following the Tomb episode have been lost.
