John Nathan-Turner, producer of Doctor Who, will be at WXXI-TV, Channel 21, studios today and Monday to meet area fans. He is bringing a 48-foot exhibition trailer containing special effects animation and the show's most famous monsters and villians.
Visitors enter the exhibit by walking through a "TARDIS," the time-traveling device in the form of an old English police call box used by the Doctor in his adventures.
Turner will also present a 90-minute video program of short documentaries about the 24-year-old series, which is on at 11 p.m. Saturdays on Channel 21.
Tickets to the events, scheduled from noon to 6 p.m., are $7.50 for adults ($6.50 for WXXI members) and $6 for children 14 and under. For information or advance tickets, call WXXI at 325-7500.
