Scott E. Long, Enrika Brown and Steve Daylatorrey, Arizona State University students, push a replica of Dr. Who's police box-time machine to a booth set up on campus to promote the Friends of Dr. Who club. Dr. Who is the main character of a British science-fiction serial that is being telecast on Channel 8. He used the police box to transport himself through time and space for adventures in the series. This replica was built by club member Michael Vening. Currently, the Friends of Dr. Who are conducting a campaign to prevent Channel 8 from canceling the serial.
