DOCTOR Who stars are living in fear of something more deadly than Daleks the BBC canteen.
They have been told to avoid certain dishes while filming in Cardiff in case they become ill.
New companion Pearl Mackie revealed the Time Lord's former sidekick Jenna Coleman, who played Clara Oswald, warned her about lunch times.
Pearl, who stars as Bill Potts alongside Peter Capal-di's Doctor on the show, said: "On my first day of filming Jenna sent me a note telling me what not to eat in the canteen.
"And she told me where to get nice food in Cardiff." Jenna also advised Pearl to practise her "super hero" run - where she chases monsters down corridors - to comedy programme theme tunes such as Yakety Sax from The Benny Hill Show.
But the actress added: "I'm not telling you what music I chose.
"That's for me and me alone to know"
Doctor Who starts on BBC One at 7.20pm on Saturday.

She is best known for playing Margaery Tyrell in the popular fantasy drama.
But now bookies Ladbrokes have slashed her odds from 33-1 to just 4-1 to take over the BBC Time Lord role from Peter Capaldi, who bows out at Christmas.
Despite the rush of bets, TV insiders claim the next Doc will be male.
