Opening today at the Adelphi is 'Dr. Who and the Daleks' and who else but Peter Cushing could be Dr. Who? Cushing is always among the odd and the eerie. He brings strange happenings about with him. everywhere. And here he is out of this world, accidentally of course, when the space machine he has invented takes head against his wishes and lands him in the all-metal city of the metal-coated Daleks in a planet of their own.
Caught up with him in the unintentional take-off are his granddaughters Barbara (Jennie Lindan) and Susan (Roberta Tovey) and Barbara's boy-friend Ian (Roy Castle). The Daleks, it would appear, are at war with the Thals (is there peace anywhere?) and Cushing takes sides with the Thals. Much excitement is had by all before they head back for Earth again.
