A DALEK has landed at the MetroCentre but it's not expected to exterminate any shoppers.
The life-sized metal monster is, for once, on the same side as his old adversary Dr Who.
Book publishers Virgin have loaned the Dalek to the John Menzies shop for a week to publicise their series of Dr Who children's novels.
A Virgin spokesman said: "Whole generatons have been fascinated by the Daleks, so is not only children who are fans"
