DR Who's Dalek will take on R2D2 from 'Star Wars' during a bathe of mega-robots in Dublin next month.
The dash of the 100 kilogrammes combat robots will be among the big attractions at the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition in Dublin.
Other exhibits include elephants' toothpaste and a detailed look at the journey of food through our bodies, called It Takes Guts.
A total of 550 projects by secondary students will be competing for the prestigious title of Young Scientist and Technologist of the Year.
You can also view an eight-foot robot called Titan at the exhibition, running from January 10 to 12 at the RDS.
