WHAT would you say was the source of the energy that powers Dr. Who's Tardis?
Nuclear power? An untapped and hitherto unknown source from a distant planet? Not so — and I have proof absolute that it is, in fact, something rather more mundane and familiar to us all.
Just look at the bottom right-hand corner of this recent publicity photograph for the Doctor, Colin Baker, and his well-endowed assistant Peri (Nicola Bryant).
Hope all the sockets in outer space are three-pin square, or else he's got problems.
