TERRRY NATION, creator of the Dr Who series, was the guest of Tonbridge Inner Wheel's inter-club lunch at the Rose and Crown Market Room last week. He spoke about his career as a film and TV script writer. His series include The Avengers. The Persuaders and The Survivors. He was welcomed by the president, Mrs Nora Chaplin-Hall. Mrs Eileen Nichol was thanked for organizing the catering arrangements, and Mrs Grace Groombridge and Mrs Mona Manwaring were thanked for the floral arrangements. Clubs from Kent and Sussex were represented.
