ONLY DR Who really knows what fits inside the deceptively large interior of his Tardis.
But in the case of the Time Lord's superfan Clare Lee, hers only has space for a wheelbarrow.
The 47-year-old was given the Doctor Who model, which appears as a time machine in the popular BBC One sci-fi programme, by her husband as a surprise Christmas present - and now keeps it in her Lenton garden.
Mrs Lee, a midwife at the Queen's Medical Centre, said: "I am a massive fan of Doctor Who, as is my husband, and two years ago he decided to buy me the Tardis as a surprise.
"He won't tell me where he got it from, an internet dealer I presume. "It was meant to come at Christmas but it came just before New Year.
"A van just pulled up outside our house and started unloading it, to my surprise. "My neighbour certainly didn't know what to think about it."
Mrs Lee has four children, aged between 12 and 19, who all love Dr Who.
She admits that the Tardis, which is in the shape of a 1960s-style London police box, is difficult to spot for passers-by but people who have seen it have expressed their admiration. "It's quite difficult to see because its right at the bottom of the garden at the back but the people who do see it like it," she said.
"You wouldn't believe how small it is, it is deceptively small, only about six foot square. I have my wheelbarrow in it."
Mrs Lee is looking forward to the Dr Who Christmas Special as she never misses an episode. She said: "I have been a fan for a long time. I collected Tardis models and still have lots of them in my house, so I have mini Tardis models inside and the Tardis outside.
"I love it. It is definitely one of my favourite things about Doctor Who."
The Tardis is also loved by her neighbours.
Jeremy Croad, 19, a student at the University of Notting-ham, who lives opposite, said: "It's pretty cool. It is nice to see something a bit different.
"It livens up the garden a bit.
I think Dr Who is great.
"The 50th anniversary celebrations are worth a watch, I saw it at the cinema recently."
Imogen Clements, 19, also a student at The University of Nottingham, said: "I am a big Dr Who fan, so I think it's quite cool."
Sam Johnson, 22, another University of Nottingham student, said: "It is very weird. All we have in our garden is a burnt down tree so it is not as exciting. "I like Dr Who. I think David Tennant and Matt Smith made the best Doctors. I am going to check the Tardis out now." ¦ Are you are a bigger Dr Who superfan? Email newsdesk@nottinghampost.com
