Oh yeah? Not the televisual equivalent, then, of "nudity is vital to the script" (for which, read gratuitous).

Try explaining a policewoman in a thigh-high pelmet to a 10-year-old, as I had to last Saturday night.

I wasn't impressed. All eyes were on the new Doctor, zippy Matt Smith, and all Matt Smith's eyes were on Amy's mini skirts, did you notice? Even the ones in the back of his regenerated head.
