Dr. Who's final trip...

AS A staunch Dr. Who fan I didn't like what I read in the Sci-Fi magazine Starburst this week. It seems the next BBC-TV series of the ageless doctor will be the last. The time lord will wander space no more.

Sad news indeed because except for the Tripods each Saturday on BBC 1 Sci-Fi programmes are very thin on the ground.

The next Dr. Who series runs for fourteen two four-part and three two-part stories and after that no ore. So it looks like the BBC are going to carry out the Daleks' instructions and EX-TER-MIN-ATE the good doctor.

Caption: Right Dr. Who (Colin Baker) gives a final wave as he enters the TARDIS for the last time.
