Don't look now, but there's a spot of domestic bother brewing up for the TARDIS. Dr. Who's assistant, Peri, played by Nicola Bryant, is none too happy with the time lord's latest incarnation in the shape of Colin Baker. She felt far happier with him and his previous form as Peter Davison.
"He has a new personality," says 22 year-old Nicola. "If he had always been like this I don't think Peri would ever have gone up with him. Their relationship now, is at best mutual toleration."
Cut you can see for yourself and the start of a new adventure tonight on BBC1 at 6.40 p.m. Nicola as role as Peri is her first since leaving drama school.
Guest and tonight is Kevin McNally, who last Thursday finished his round as Jan, hero of the Diana series. He plays an interplanetary policemen called Hugo.
