Tom Baker, television's Dr Who, and Lalla Ward, 29, his co-star, pictured in London yesterday after announcing their engagement. Both the 45-year-old actor, who is divorced with two teenage sons, and his fiancée, the daughter of Viscount and Viscountess Bangor, are being written out of the series.
