WENDY IS WENDY is Wendy — that's what producer Tom Arnold decided when he saw Wendy Padbury, 24, photographed at her Chiswick home today.
He wasn't being funny he had found the actress fur the star part of Wendy in Peter Pan. Today Wendy was " very thrilled" at the thought of playing the Coliseum in December alongside Dorothy Tutin as Peter Pan, and Ron Moody as Captain Hook.
It will be an occasion of firsts" for her—she's never actually " flown" around a stage before although she did a little bit of " flying in space" when filming the television series Dr Who.
Tom Arnold said today : "I took one look at her and thought she would be the ideal Wendy —I don't think we've had a Wendy playing Wendy before—out of 10 girls I interviewed.
