"This year is all about chasing adventure," Coleman says

SATURDAY, SEPT. 26 9/8c, BBC America

A month ago, if you had told us that companion Clara (Jenna Coleman) would ever collaborate with Who megavillain Missy (Michelle Gomez), we would have cackled like a Carrionite. But they made a surprisingly good pair when they teamed up to find the missing Doctor (Peter Capaldi) in last week's Season 9 premiere, which concludes tonight. So what happens now that the Time Lord is trapped in Dalek City, home of his greatest foe? "A good old-fashioned invasion with a bit of a modern twist that reflects the world today. It's actually satirical!" Capaldi says. Adds the 57-year-old star. "the Doctor may be two-and-a-half-thousand years old, but he knows life is short."
