TV legend Dr Who is heading to Aberdeen in his Tardis.
The Doctor will be touching down at His Majesty's Theatre in April to renew battle with the Daleks in a new stage version of the classic series, which has captivated small screen audiences for more than 20 years.
Actor Jon Pertwee, who in 1969 became the third actor to play the Doctor in the TV show, stars in the new show, which runs from April 3-8.
"It's particularly appropriate because this year is the 25th anniversary of Dr Who." explained theatre diretor James Donald. "It's a big production with lasers and special effects - quite spectacular."
The show, which features Dr Who on a world peace mission for Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, costs more than £100,000 to stage.
