BOOZING, having NOOKIE with his sexy assistant, and getting into BAR-ROOM BRAWLS with weird-looking aliens.
Hollywood film moguls say the childrens' TV hero is stuck in a time warp. Now they're making him a hard-drinking trouble shooter in a new £20 million Dr Who epic.
A 'Who' insider said: "They want to take the Doctor into the 90s.
"He will be more of a James Bond-type character."
Canadian heart-throb Donald Sutherland has landed the part, played for many years by actor Tom Baker. His pretty girlfriend Caroline Munroe will star as his sexy assistant.
But Dr Who's BBC creators and fans are likely to go into orbit.
A confidante said last night: "Some ardent fans might be shocked when they see this film."
