ACTOR Tom Baker says he was mad to quit as TV's Doctor Who -- even though he became obsessed by the role.
Tom, 61, said: "I thought I'd had enough but I could have gone for ever.
"I became insecure and began to live in the Doctor's world."
Twice-wed Tom, now in TV's Medics, quit in 1982. He spoke out after being rejected for the film version of Dr Who.
