Good news, Whovians! The Doctor Who Celebration and Tour comes to town this weekend for a two-day stay at WCET-TV (Channel 48).
Sarah Sutton, a popular Doctor Who companion "Nyssa," will host question-and-answer sessions and sign autographs Saturday and Sunday in the Channel 48 studios, 1223 Central Pky., across from Music Hall.
The British television science fiction show enters its 25th season this year. It has been seen in the United States on more than 180 public television stations, including Cincinnati (10-11 p.m. Saturdays on Channel 48).
The tour features a traveling exhibition trailer and video documentaries on the series.
The exhibit will be open noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets are $7.50 per person.
A special costume contest will take place at 3:30 p.m. each day for people dressed like Doctors, companions, villains and monsters.
