"Doctor Who" fans still mourning the regeneration of our beloved Eleven, Matt Smith, can wipe away the tears and get ready to party with other Tulsa Whovians.

Assimilation — Doctorin' the Tardis is a "costumes-encouraged" theme party set for 9 p.m.-2 a.m. March 14 at IDL Ballroom, 230 First St. in downtown Tulsa. It's an 18-and-up party; cost is $5 for 21 and older, $7 for everyone else.

Expect to see lots of cos-play at the event — and for any ladies who don't have that perfect Doctor Who-themed costume yet, an Etsy seller from Choctaw will custom-make you a steampunk-esque Tardis dress. See bit.Iy/etsycostume for more information.

Guys, don't you be lazy — there are lots of options for Doctor-themed get-ups, or you could make all the ladies swoon with a long military coat and flirty grin as Captain Jack Harkness.
