NIGEL TERRY 1945-2015
Nigel Terry, best known for his performance as King Arthur in John Boorman's 1981 film "Excalibur," died April 30 of emphysema at age 69. Terry's first major appearance was in Anthony Harvey's 1968 film "The Lion in Winter," where he played Prince John alongside Peter O'Toole and Katharine Hepburn. Terry also played the titular Italian painter in the 1986 "Caravaggio;' directed by Derek Jarman, and appeared frequently on British television, including on "Dr. Who."
