DR Who is "resting" these days -- sidelined by those blinkered Beeb bods. But it won't be for long if Steven Spielberg has his way. The sci/fi maestro, a devoted fan, is trying to cut a deal with the BBC to allow him revive the cult series.
Dr. Who had to go easy on expenses as he wandered around time Dr. Who? and space for the BBC. But with all the state-of-the-art, high tech special effects Spielberg's mega bucks can buy the Time Lord is set for mighty exciting things.
But who'se going to be Who? Rumour is that Baywatch star David Hesselhoff wants the role. A west coast USA Dr. Who? Take some used to getting to.
