Memorial Scholarship for Second Dr. Who
A scholarship fund memorializing British actor Patrick Troughton has been announced by California State University, Sacramento, and the Sacramento Dr. Who Fan Club.
A 40-year veteran of British stage, TV, and film, Troughton is best known in U.S. as the second Dr. Who in the long-running science fiction series of the same name. He died of an apparent heart attack in late March.

Tim Bresnan, president of the Renegade Time Lords, Moweaqua, recently wrote WILL-TV to inform us that Ian Marter, the actor who played the companion Harry Sullivan, and then started to write Doctor Who stories in paperback books, died in late of October, 1986.
He also reported that Colin Baker has been replaced by Sylvester McCoy. The latest Doctor is a stage actor with a Scottish accent. Thanks for the information, Tim.
