[edit]

At home ... Jill Curzon is quite cool, quiet, beautifully groomed and HARMLESS

Dead-eye is a match the men

EVEN the clay pigeons stay in their traps when winter winds are howling. But, come the spring, Jill Curzon's trusty barrels will be in action to demolish the hurtling discs.

"The season starts next month," said Jill, former English Ladies' Champion, international gold medallist and Olympic shot. "I expect I'll be at it again, both here and on the Continent."

Few women ever reach Jill's standard. She took the sport up five years ago—fed up with watching her husband, actor Derek Partridge, spending his spare time on the range—and now has to find her match among men.

From the clay pigeon's point of view, Jill's just a pretty face that disappears in a puff of smoke. Televiewers know her better as Norma, the girl next door in previous Hugh and I series on BBC-1 and as one of Bertie Wooster's girl friends in The World of Wooster.

And now she has started work at Shepperton, Middlesex, on Daleks Invade The Earth, the new Dr. Who film in which she is the female star.

As a hostess... she's still cool, beautifully groomed. But quite VIVACIOUS

On the range, she's cool, quiet, beautifully groomed and DEADLY

As a housewife ... she's what every man needs—HARD-WORKING
