The Whovian Alliance of Salem, a group of admirers of the Dr. Who television series, is seeking new members at its 3 p.m. Saturday meeting.
The alliance will meet in Metinoya House in the Baxter Complex on the Willamette University campus, 900 State St., Salem.
Dr. Who is the long-running BBC Television series about a Time Lord who travels through time and encounters various aliens. Oregon Public Broadcasting shows it at 10 p.m. Fridays on channels 7 and 10.
Richard Scott of Salem, the alliance president, said the group served as a source of information on Dr. Who, allows people to share knowledge and encourages the state network to show the program.
