Project Who? (Radio 2, 8.30 pm) begins a two-part assessment of the famed Time Lord on the occasion of his resuscitation (later this month) on BBC TV. Christopher Eccleston (who has been narrating this network's religious series, Sacred Nation, on Sundays) is the new Doctor. Billie Piper, the most recent Mrs Chris Evans, is his helper. Previous versions are on video and on audio tapes. If you want to know more, there's a website: bbc.co.uk/doctorwho.
Looking forward to it: Billie Piper and Christopher Eccleston is the new Dr Who (R2, 8.30 pm)
