[edit]

PATRICK Troughton (pictured) takes over as Doctor Who tonight for the latest yarn in the time traveller's retrospective. The Mind Robber, first shown in 1968, is a five-parter set in "a place out of time, space and reality" where fiction appears as fact. The Doctor is assisted by Wendy Padbury and Frazer (Emmerdale Farm) Hines (6.50pm, BBC2).
