[edit]

6:30-7:00 PM DOCTOR WHO. A bit of tongue-in-cheek science fantasy from the BBC. It smacks of the old "Flash Gordon" and "Buck Rogers" movie serials. Tom Baker is the doctor of the title, but it's the Sontarans, Daleks, Cybermen and Zygons who are the real stars of this show. This series has spawned quite a cult-following in England.
