ACTOR Patrick Troughton, the BBC's second Dr Who, above, died of a heart attack in hospital in the United States at the weekend. He was 67.

Mr Troughton was attending a Dr Who convention in Columbus, Georgia, with other stars from the long-running adventure series when he was taken ill.

He leaves a widow, six children and two step-children.
