STAND by for a new wave of Dalek-daft youngters in the next few weeks.
After four years absence those much imitated robots roll back on to our screens to-night when the new Dr. Who season opens with a four -part adventure by Terry Nation called Destiny of the Daleks.
Since the original Dalek addicts will have moved on a bit, you can expect a new generation of youngsters to start wandering round the house croaking "ext-erminate" in strangled little voices.
Liverpool's Tom Baker--the best actor of all in my book--is back again, but he's joined by newcomer Lalla Ward as his assistant Romana.
In the first episode the Doctor and Romana land on a desolate planet where they are intrigued by evidence of drilling operations unnderground. The good doctor is rescued from a collapsed ballding by the apparently friendly Movellans who've just arrived in a huge spaceship.
Buat they are not alone on the planet—-the Daleks have also arrived and are about to unleach an even greater menace.
