Don't tell Dr Who ... but he will soon be coming face to face with the monster pictured above.
It is a shaggy-haired, sub-human reptile with and EYE in its MOUTH.
And it is called a Monoid.
But the doctor will also have a pleasant surprise - a new, lovely Space companion named Dodo, played by Jackie Lane.
That's Jackie in the picture - meeting the monster at rehearsals for a new BBC television serial, "Dr. Who and the Ark."
