[edit]

THE first three Doctor Who actors - William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwee - were yesterday honoured by the placing of blue plaques at BBC Television Centre.

Families of the actors and cast members of the show unveiled the Television Heritage memorials in an event organised by the Heritage Foundation, in association with the BBC.
