CHESTER A Doctor Who Dalek suit, left, which had been gathering dust in a loft for more than 40 years, was sold on the internet for £3,200. It was among the first officially licensed Dalek suits to be made after the launch of the BBC show in 1963. Only a small batch were made before the factory burned down.
The suit attracted attention on eBay, the internet auction site, because it is thought to be the only one remaining with its original box. John Jackson, 45, of Chester, put it up for sale, thinking he might get £10, It was bought by a Doctor Who fan from Virginia, USA.
