DOCTOR WHO: THE CURSE OF FATAL DEATH Rowan Atkinson, Jonathan Pryce

(2000, BBC/Warner, 62 mins., unrated) Mr. Bean in an update of the classic BBC camp sci-fi show? Yeah, it's a joke. But awfully funny, with Pryce cackling silly lines like "Your certain death is now certain!" and constant jabs at the series' notoriously repetitive plots and low production values. Coupled with a clever making-of documentary, the sketch is a treasure for Doctor Who fans and a good primer for those who wouldn't know a police call box from a Dalek (don't ask). B Plus
