Televiewers are to get a new Dr. Who in the popular BBC science fiction series. Jon Pertwee, who played the doctor for four years, is to leave the programme.
He is leaving to tour in a comedy play and make a series of "Who-done-it" for Thames Television. The BBC said today a new Dr. Who had been found but his name was being kept secret until contracts were signed.
