Dr Who Fan's Dalek Is Just the Ticket

EXTERMINATE, exterminate - Dr Who fan Jamie Knight (21) has just added a full-size dalek to his collection.
And he intends to take the metal monster to work with him to try and relee money for charity.
The dalek will be on show at Somerfield, in Winfrey Avenue, Spalding - where Jamie works as a car park attendent on Saturday, September 9, to raise money for the Red Cross.
Jamia, of Church Street, Holbeach, has been a massive fan of the space and time travelling doctor for the past 13 years and even has a full-size model police box in his garden.
Among his other Dr Who memorabilia is a replica of K-9 and a Dr Who chess set.
He is now saving for costumes and is alays on the lookout for items to add to his collection.
And work collegues have also helped Jamie add to hle collection by knitting him a Tom Baker style scarf.
Jamie sald of his passion for Dr Who: "There is just something about him that appeals to me. I don't like Star Trek, although the effects are better - I think it's just his scattiness."
Jamie bought the 5ft 7inch tall dalek and K-9 for £360 from Celestor after friends had seen them advertised for sale.
The dalek replica is the same size as thoes used in the Dr Who movies but a dalek that had actually been in a filmm would cost around £3,000.
