DALEK mushrooms will be among the delicacies on the menu at a restaurant's special Dr Who charity night.
The out-of-this-world evening on Friday. April 18 will be the first in a series of unusual monthly themed fundraising events at T-4-2 in the Riverside Shopping Centre, Southgate, Sleaford.
The Dr Who night — in aid of the Sleaford branch of Dial-A-Ride — will feature quizzes, competitions, music and videos associated with the TV time traveller. And staff and customers are expected to wear fancy dress on a Dr Who theme.
T-4-2 manager Stephan Jeannin said: "We will be playing Dr Who soundtracks throughout the evening and we have even found a Dr Who recipe book so all five courses on the menu will be based on characters from the programme."
Each monthly fundraising night will be in aid of a different charity.
Staff are already planning a German night for May and a Grease movie night for June.
