I just can't understand why you turn away from a sure winner

Several times over the past year and a half, I have suggested to "the decision makers" at Ch. 35 that they should carry "Doctor Who." I have never received a direct answer to my inquiry ...
I just can't understand why you turn away from a sure winner, one that could possibly be the most watched show in its time slot if shown locally. You opt for programs with very limited viewer appeal. I await your answer.

WGVC has inquired about the cost of acquiring "Dr. Who." It is very expensive — around $30, 000 a year. However, we know it is a popular series and will give it careful consideration for purchase later this year.
