Doc fan's Tardis burned
A DR Who fan flew from the US to recover a "lost" Tardis — and found it had been BURNED two weeks earlier.
The fake police box was used in a BBC shoot in 1983.
Richard Briggs, left, of Washington DC, discovered the collectors' item was left behind by the film crew at Plas Brondanw, near Porthmadog, North Wales.
But a gardener told him he kept the plywood Tardis in a shed for years — then got sick of it and dumped it on a bonfire.
Richard, 47, said: "It was worth a five-figure sum. If only I could travel back in time ...
