THE creator of the Daleks for BBC's Dr Who series has died.
Model-maker Bill Roberts' most enduring adversaries of the Doctor were a central feature of the show for 26 years. He died at his home in Iver, Buckinghamshire, aged 73.
A BBC spokesman said his Daleks "hold a special place in the hearts of all Dr Who fans".
