TV's "Mr. Nasty," Colin Baker, it to get a new improved image as the latest "Dr. Who."
The man who captured the girls' hearts as brutal businessman Paul Merroney in The Brothers is all set to take over as the sixth Time Lord.
Colin, 40, said last night: "The Brothers was seven years ago — and I've still got the tag of Mr. Nasty.
"It will be marvellous playing the Doctor, because he is eccentric, humorous — and much more like the real me."
Colin will make Dr. Who "quirky, witty and unexpected." His companion on his adventures will be gorgeous Nicola Bryant.
Colin bas been a Dr. Who fan since the time traveller first appeared on TV. "I was 20 then, so the Doctor is certainly not kids' stuff," he said.
He takes over from the present Doctor, Peter Davidson for four episodes before the present series ends.
